La Vanguardia: "British bastion captured" — Kennedy Peak — "the most important enemy position in the Taungzan-Tiddim sector." The Japanese "radically repulsed" 100 American planes over Rabaul on March 15 and another 80 planes the next day. Damage was "negligible," though apparently none were shot down. Rice rations are 120 grams every two days. If you include skipped days, the average since the start of rationing is around 50 grams per day. |
