Tribune: "70 Guerrillas Surrender." The group includes seven Filipino officers of the USAFFE and two Americans who supposedly surrendered after being told they would be treated fairly. None were named. One American had a pet monkey on his shoulder. They looked bedraggled and worn out after 481 days living in the mountains and fighting — before they were caught.
