The City of Greater Manila has been reorganized and integrated into just the City of Manila. Today a Japanese bomber dropped leaflets over the city urging USAFFE remnants and guerrillas to give themselves up by June 30 or be severely punished "according to military law."

A new rice-rationing plan has been announced. The heads of 23 families holding ration cards will appoint one man to go to Naric and buy a sack of rice for P7.80. A few sacks are still available on the open market for P16, but these will disappear soon.
