During one of at least two secret meetings of the National Assembly, Murata was seen pacing and muttering to himself outside the closed doors. Then someone came out and talked to him. Murata replied: "But you must. You must. It is imperative." My source said it must have been on the Alliance Pact. Laurel may have resisted, but not Subhas Chandra Bose, who is in Tokyo to see Tojo. He's offering his troops (all twenty of them) to fight on Japan's side. |
