From a Tokyo dispatch in the Tribune: The U.S. should bear in mind that Japan is ready to meet any and all counter-attacks against Japanese occupied areas in the Southern regions, in the Pacific, and in the north. In fact, the Imperial Navy is looking for a chance to meet the U.S. forces as it will give the Japanese a chance to annihilate the U.S. Navy. They mean the same U.S. Navy that has been annihilated several times already. Incidentally, this U.S. Navy can be found in the Solomons at any time — no invitation needed. |
