Our 'old friend' Hitoshi "Thesaurus" Kozuma writes: "Party of General Tanaka Warmly Received in South [Lucena].... A baby in the arms of its mother in front of a solitary nipa house in the coco-palm grove area smiled at the General." (Only the baby smiled.) Hans Menzi is in Muntinlupa doing seven years of hard labor, and still no one knows why. Rumor says Dr. Tuason is also in for seven years. Meanwhile, the Cohn Brothers, Waldeck (opposite us in the Crystal Arcade), Ismael, Hemady, and Goldenberg have been sent to Fort Santiago, probably for buying stolen goods or for cashing dollar checks.
