The price of Sulfathiazole has gone from 6 centavos a pill to P1.20 and is still rising. Cigarettes come in a packet stamped with a fixed price but it'll cost you double the marked price. The downtown markets have huge signs with fixed prices for fish, meat and every item including individual vegetables but it's all for show — no one sells at those prices. The girls from Radio Tokyo continue to pound us with incredible propaganda. It's now directed to the people of the U.S. and England. "Where else" [but from Tokyo], asks one, "can you get the correct news?" |
