Tribune: "Military Police Arrest Many for Hostile Acts ... Condemn aid given to force in secret." It must be clearly understood that sentiments of sympathy to the enemy, even though not manifested outwardly, are clearly an act of hostility against the Imperial Japanese Forces, taking into consideration the present wartime situation.... When these hostile anti-Japanese groups comprises such elements as leading figures in the community, the matter is one of the utmost seriousness. As well as registering all typewriters, we were reminded again today to register all radios too. Meanwhile, house-to-house searches continue — now in the eastern suburbs of Manila. |
