The Japanese have been censoring books, magazines and even prayer books and missals. Even the holidays of obligation in the United States have been censored just in case they celebrate American heroes. The "heat is on," hints a note from Cabanatuan that I read today. Seems six Americans went over the fence to do some shopping and were caught on the way back with four Filipino helpers. I'm told that all ten were executed. Page 6 of the Tribune: "Japan can fight for 100 years after she conquers China." Yes, and it might just take them all of 100 years to do that. |
