Spent the day in bed. VoF announced the arrival of several thousand American troops in Australia. It won't be enough to save them if the Japanese rule the skies. Yesterday's full-page article on Australia is the usual sign of where the Japanese are headed next. The Vice-Chairman of the Philippine Red Cross, Judge Manuel Camus, expressed his gratitude to Lt. Col. Narusawa, chief of the religious section, for the "very generous" and "opportune" donation of 100 cases of milk for mothers with young children at the Children's Hospital and the Holy Ghost College. He didn't have to say who stole our milk in the first place. |
