MFP: The Reds say the Germans killed four million in Auschwitz. Truman advised Japan to quit.

Chronicle: "Japs denounce America, British, Hit Communism." Apparently they haven't had enough yet.

"Intramuros hit hardest in war" — not one building left. Manila lost 9,565 buildings valued at P78 million. The owners will have to pay taxes on those buildings if the law is not rescinded.

Vicente Madrigal, long a pillar of Philippine commerce and a rich Croesus who had more money than he could use but never stopped trying to accumulate more, is in a Palawan prison. The worst charge against him is sending buying agents to the provinces to buy anything that could be resold to the Japanese. L.R. Aguinaldo is also among the prominent Filipinos being investigated. Some people say the CIC stands for "Ch! I'm Confused," but it's working ... slowly and surely.

Peralta was given another medal ... by none other than Basilio Valdes, who is having trouble with Cabili. Congressman Jose C. Zulueta pleads for harmony, lambasting those who "not only have divided the people but are now trying to divide their chosen representatives." Meanwhile, Representative Ramoz says Cabili's speech "reminds one of the antics of Adolf Hitler." Cabili offended a lot of people by using the term "prostitutes." The city remains at a standstill while the politicking goes on.

MFP says that two Japanese "snipers" were killed near La Salle. They must have been starving to death.
