A typhoon has been raging since last night. Fortunately, heavy rains are cushioning us from the hurricane-like winds. Electricity and water is down. We have no papers, no radio, can't go anywhere for news, and the telephone just went on the blink. Manila is flooded and completely shut off from the world.
